TLDR:
- Two assets: Almacy uses USDG and ETH — a dollar-denominated asset for everyday payments, and ETH for everything else.
- One chain: both live on Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663. There is nothing else to configure.
- Live balances: what you see is read straight from the chain — nothing seeded, nothing simulated.
- Open in and out: deposit from any wallet or exchange, withdraw to any 0x address you control.
USDG
USDG is the asset you reach for when you want to pay someone a known amount. Send @alice 25 USDG and 25 USDG is what arrives. It is the default for day-to-day payments by handle.
ETH
ETH sits alongside USDG in the same wallet. Use it when you want to send ETH itself. Both assets move the same way: pick a handle, pick an amount, send. The handle resolves to the recipient's wallet and the transfer settles on-chain.
